Say hello to Class Notes, our simple way for you to share updates, insights, and even files directly with your child’s tutor. Whether it’s a picture of their latest homework assignment, a quick note about how your kid’s feeling, or a worksheet you’d like them to focus on, you can now send it all in just a few clicks from your Parent dashboard.
This feature is all about helping you and your tutor work together to personalize each session, ensuring your child gets the most out of their time with us.
By sharing these key details, you’re helping ensure that each class is tailored to your child’s unique needs.
Ready to dive in?
Here’s how you can get started with Class Notes and make the most out of your next session!
- First, be sure to log in to your Dojo Tutor account.
- In the Upcoming Classes tab, go to your kid’s upcoming class
- Click on “Add Notes”
- This will open a new modal for you to input your desired message.
- If you’d like to add an attachment, such as a worksheet or image, click on “Attach a file”. This opens a space for you to browse or drag-and-drop your selected file.
- Once you’ve selected your file, you’ll see it’s ready to send. Be sure to click the purple “Add note and notify tutor” button to submit it!
- Congrats! 🎉 You’ve submitted your first note!
- When you submit a note, your kiddo’s Tutor is notified via email, and they’re also able to reply to you! If they respond, you’ll be notified and you will see their reply in the same Notes section where you submitted yours.
Please note that Class Notes are not instant messaging, so don’t expect your child’s tutor to reply immediately!
