- A trial class, followed by three weeks of 1-on-1 tutoring sessions tailored to the child’s needs.
- How is this program different from regular reading tutoring?
- It’s a short four-week “boost” focusing on reading. Families can seamlessly switch to regular tutoring after the four weeks simply by continuing on with their tutor. They won’t need to take any action to make that happen.
- Will you provide assessments and materials for this program?
- Dojo Tutor will provide winter themed assessments to be used during the trial class. Following lessons and activities will be provided by the tutor. The idea here is to keep classes winter themed to make lessons fun and engaging.
- What is the Winter Reading Boost certificate?
- At the end of your four weeks together, you will share a completion certificate with your student. This will be an easily editable google slide. You can send this to families using the notes feature during class.
- Will the program include specific reading levels or age groups?
- This is designed for all reading levels; tutors will adjust their ongoing lessons based on the child’s needs.
- What if families want more frequent sessions during the four weeks?
- They can add additional sessions. The Boost program is four weeks, but families can opt for as many sessions per week as they’d like. They can also continue with their tutors beyond the four weeks simply by continuing to attend sessions.
- What happens at the end of the four weeks?
- Families can decide if they want to continue after four sessions. If they’d prefer to cancel, they can do so easily via the family Dashboard’s Subscription Cancellation self-serve feature.
- Is there a specific timeframe within which families must use their four sessions?
- The deadline to sign up is November 24. Families do not need to start the program on November 24. They can choose to schedule their first session when they’d like.
