A: Yes! You can select multiple specializations to reflect your expertise. Just make sure you can back them up with proper evidence (more below!).
Q: How does adding a specialization benefit me?
A: Adding a specialization helps you to be matched with students whose needs align with your skills. This makes sessions more effective and enjoyable, leading to higher engagement and better outcomes for students.
Q: Do I need to meet any requirements to specialize?

Q: Can I change my specialization later?
A: Absolutely! If you acquire new skills or get certified in any new specialization, you can update your specializations using the steps above.
Q: How does adding a specialization impact scheduling or matching?
A: Tutors with specializations are more likely to get matched with students seeking support in those areas.
Q: What happens if I don’t choose a specialization?
A: That’s okay! Tutors who haven’t added any specializations will still be eligible to be matched with students who don’t require one (which includes most of our learners!). They may also be matched with students needing a specialization, though tutors with the specific specialization requested by families will be given priority.
