How to cancel a Group Class session

If your child can’t make it to a Group Class session, you can cancel it in just a few taps. Each session is one scheduled meeting (like Monday at 4:00 pm), even if it’s part of a weekly Group Class.

Good news-- canceling a session works the same way as canceling a 1:1 class!

📚Am I cancelling my Group Class subscription?

No, you're not! Cancelling a session for your group class doesn't cancel your Dojo Tutor subscription; instead, you're only cancelling the session scheduled for that week. You'll continue to see new sessions for your child's Group Class scheduled in the coming weeks.

💲️Refund policy for Group Class sessions

Here’s how refunds work:

  • Cancel more than 24 hours before the session → you’re eligible for a refund
  • Cancel within 24 hours of the session → not eligible for a refund
  • Rescheduling is not available

Cancel a scheduled session from your Parent Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Dojo Tutor online account
  1. Find the class you'd like to cancel and click 'Manage class' on the class card
  1. Scroll down to the 'Cancel your class' section, and select the 'Cancel class' button
  1. Confirm you want to cancel by clicking on 'Cancel class.' Note: Refunds are only available if you cancel more than 24 hours before the session.

 

  1. You're done! You'll see a confirmation message, and the class will no longer appear in your dashboard. You will also receive an email to confirm the cancellatin.
