General tutoring trial assessment
During the trial session, you’ll:

- Conduct a warm, meet-and-greet to connect with the student (and/or their family) and learn more about their academic challenges, goals, and learning preferences.
- Observe how the student approaches sample tasks, problems, or reading passages using the subject-specific slide decks available for Math, Reading, Writing, and Science. You can find those slide decks here.
- Start building rapport while identifying strengths, skill gaps, and focus areas that will guide your instruction moving forward.
This trial session is designed to be flexible. You can tailor it to one subject or use it as a general exploration, including support for homework or ongoing academic challenges.
