A: Dojo Tutor matches kids with personal tutors to help them succeed in math, reading, and writing. Fun, one-to-one lessons are tailored to each child’s learning needs. Tutors provide homework help, support getting to grade level, and more. Sessions take place on Lessonspace, and families can choose convenient times that fit their schedules.
Q: Are you related to my child’s school?
A: Dojo Tutor is an independent learning program, and we are not affiliated with any school. Sessions occur when you choose! Most popular times are outside of school hours (so as not to interrupt children's regular learning schedule!).

Q: Can kids receive tutoring in more than one subject?
A: Yes! Your child can work on any combination of math, reading, and writing with our tutoring team. Your child will receive individual assessments in each subject to craft a learning plan that meets their needs.
Q: Who are Dojo Tutors?
A: Dojo Tutors are selected for their passion, experience, and skill in meeting kids where they are to help them thrive. Every Dojo tutor goes through a rigorous interview process that includes a background check and sample lesson.
Q: Can I choose a tutor for my child?
A: Yes! Once you subscribe for weekly sessions, you have the option to review each of our tutor's profiles and choose who best fits your child’s needs. If you have a specific Dojo tutor in mind, please contact our Customer Support team; we'll be happy to set this up for you!
Q: Do you have Special Education or ESL tutors?
A: Yes! We many skilled tutors ready to assist children with special needs, including those with certifications in SPED and ESL. Once you've finished the enrollment, contact our Customer Support team so they can manually match you with a tutor that works best for your child.
Q: Is there a specific number of weeks I need to enroll for?
A: Classes are recurring weekly until the parent decides to cancel the subscription.
Q: How can I sign up for classes?
