At Dojo Tutor, we believe that consistency is key to learning success. A solid routine helps children build confidence, stay engaged, and make steady progress. That’s why we strive to make learning as accessible as possible with flexible scheduling and options to keep tutoring sessions on track.
Tutoring Hours
Our 1:1 tutoring sessions are available seven days a week during the following hours:
🕗 Monday - Sunday: 8:00 AM – 11:30 PM ET
Holidays
As of December 2025, Dojo Tutor will be open on all holidays.
We understand that maintaining learning continuity is important. Because of this, when a holiday approaches, Dojo Tutor will proactively notify and remind families and tutors through various communications— newsletters, reminders, and seasonal updates. That way, both families and tutors can plan, schedule makeup sessions as needed, and keep our students' education running smoothly.
For some of the major holidays (listed below), families and tutors will see a banner appear on their respective dashboards notifying/reminding them of the upcoming festivities up to two weeks in advance.
- Dec. 31st - New Year’s Eve
- Fourth Thursday of November - Thanksgiving
- Dec. 25th - Christmas Day
On the same note, tutors will notice that these major holidays have been set as out-of-office (OOO) days by default, providing them with enough time to plan alongside families.
Tutor Time Off & Learning Continuity
Tutors may occasionally need time off for personal or emergent situations. When this happens, we are committed to ensuring that your child’s learning isn’t disrupted.
Here’s what this means for you:
✅ Tutors may go Out of Office (OOO) in advance when they need time off
✅ Parents have the option to reschedule their session with their original Subscription Tutor at a later time (once per session, completely free of charge up to 2 hours before its start time).
✅ If you prefer, you can cancel the class altogether at your convenience
✅ If your tutor is unavailable less than 24 hours before your session, we will do our best to assign a substitute tutor to keep your child’s learning routine on track
