Administrative Support: Payment for training or guideline review

We’re streamlining our approach to training and updating compensation to make things clearer for everyone. Moving forward, we’ll compensate for activities we require you to complete. Whenever an action is mandatory and eligible for payment, we’ll make sure you’re notified.

What’s covered?

We’ll compensate you for required training and updates that are essential for your role. Examples may include, but are not limited to:

  • Major product updates: For example, new trial class methods like auto-subscribed classes to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Substitute tutor training: Preparing you to confidently step in when needed.
  • Onboarding (paid after your first class): Ensuring you have the tools and knowledge for a great start. (Starting 2025)

What’s not covered?

Some activities, while valuable in supporting your professional growth, fall outside the scope of compensated tasks. Examples may include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing observation reports, tasks, or support sessions
  • Fireside chats
  • Reading emails or updates on social media (e.g., Facebook posts)
  • Personal time spent on professional development

How will you know if something is mandatory?

We’ll always make it clear when a training or update is required and compensated, so there’s no guesswork.
