When you have an existing subscription, adding a trial session can be easily done through your Dojo Tutor account dashboard! You can add a new student or a new subject for an existing student. You can also pick the date and time that works best for you.
Let's Go
1. Log-in to Dojo Tutor at https://tutor.classdojo.com
2. From your account profile, click on the drop-down arrow at the upper right corner of your screen. Then select ‘Book a trial class’.
3. Select the name of the current student needing a Trial Class for a new subject OR select ‘+ Add A Child’ if you’re adding a new student
Your next steps will depend on whether you are adding a new subject for an existing student or adding a completely new student.
Adding a subject for an existing student
1. From Step 5 above, select the name of the existing student, select the grade level, and click ‘Continue’
2. Select the new subject for the Trial Class that you would like the student to take, then click ‘Continue’
3. Pick the date and the time that works best for you and the student, then click ‘Continue’
4. The credit card information you used in enrolling in your first session is stored in the system. You may use that card or select a new one. Once you’ve selected your payment method, click ‘Schedule Class’
5. After processing your payment, you will be redirected to your Class Schedule page, and the Trial Class that you just booked should be added
Adding a new student
1. Click the “+Add a child” option. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the new student’s name.
2. The new student’s name is automatically added to the existing list of students in your account. Select the student’s grade level, and click ‘Continue'. Note: In the example, the new student’s name is Autumn
3. Select the subject you would like the new student to take and click ‘Continue’
4. Select all applicable learning needs. You may add your own answer or skip the selection by clicking ‘Continue’
5. Pick the Trial Session’s date and time that works best for you and the student and click ‘Continue’
6. The credit card information you used when enrolling in your first session is stored in the system. You may use that card or select a new one. Once you’ve selected your payment method, click ‘Schedule Class’
7. After processing your payment, you will be redirected to your Class Schedule page, and the Trial Session that you just booked should be added
