At Dojo Tutor, we want families to feel valued and supported, especially when things don’t go as planned. That’s why we’ve introduced Free Class Credits, a simple way to give back to parents and students through special offers or goodwill adjustments.
💡 What are Free Class Credits?
Free Class Credits are complimentary tutoring sessions that may be added to your account by the Dojo Tutor team. They can be used just like regular classes to book your child’s sessions with their tutor.
🎁 How you might receive Free Credits
You might see a Free Credit added to your account if:
- You were affected by a tutor cancellation
- You received a goodwill adjustment from our support team
- You were affected by a platform issue or widespread technical bug
- You joined a special promotion or referral program
🧾 How to view and use your Free Credits
- Free Credits appear directly in your Dojo Tutor Parent Dashboard, next to your name (top, right-hand corner).
- They are applied automatically to your oldest active subscription — no code or further action needed
- Your credits will be used automatically at the time of booking
⏰ Expiration and validity
Each Free Credit comes with its own expiration date, which you can view in your account. Expiration dates help us ensure fairness and availability for all families. Most Free Credits are valid for 90 days from the date they are added.
⚠️ Important notes
- Free Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- They apply to all kinds of class formats (like 55-minute sessions)
- If you pause or cancel your plan, your remaining Free Credits will expire 90 days after they were granted (on average)
