Classes Calendar
When you log into your portal, the first thing you’ll see is your Classes Calendar. This handy tool shows you exactly which students you’ll be working with each day, always displayed in your local time zone for clarity.
Some recent updates have been added:
- There’s a new dropdown at the top right corner of the calendar page to switch between the Day and Week views.
- While on the Week view, clicking on a day will take you directly to the Day view for that date.
- Trial, Substitute, and Cancelled classes are clearly called out
- We have hot keys--
- D and W to switch between day and week, respectively.
- J and K to move to the previous and next day or week, respectively.
- T to go to Today.
- On mobile, you can swipe between days and weeks
Keep in mind that families have the option to schedule trial classes the next day as long as they are booking is after 2:00 PM ET. If you’re checking your schedule a few days ahead, note that changes can still happen until then. Be sure to review your calendar the evening before to confirm your upcoming classes!
Availability
The next tab is your availability tab. Here is where you will set your schedule and request time off. You can learn more about setting your availability here.
Profile
Your Profile tab is all about showcasing who you are as a tutor. Here, you can edit your name, profile picture, bio, and more to reflect your personality and professionalism. This is also where you select the grade levels and subjects you want to tutor.
Make sure to use your full name, not a nickname, and upload a portrait-style photo of yourself (no Bitmoji or family photos, please!). Your bio is created during your Introduction Session using the Bio Buddy, but you can make edits anytime by clicking the pencil icon next to each section.
