This summer, we’re leaning into two exciting areas to meet what families are looking for during the break:
- Summer Boost: Our popular 1:1 tutoring program for math and reading. The perfect program for families who want to keep their child learning, building confidence, and staying on track over the summer
- Fun Group Classes: A growing set of group classes in creative and engaging subjects like art, music, and games. Ideal for families who want something lighter, social, and fun for their kids
We’ll still offer a full range of tutoring, including other 1:1 subjects and academic group classes. But overall, you can expect to see the most demand and momentum in these two areas this summer.
This is a great opportunity to:
- Build a consistent schedule over the summer
- Work with new students
- Explore new class formats
What are the Summer Programs?
We’re offering two tracks:
📚 Summer Boost (1:1 Tutoring)
Academic-focused sessions in reading and/or math to help students stay on track and prepare for the next grade level.
🎉 Fun Group Classes
Weekly group classes designed to be engaging, creative, and skills-based (non-academic or lightly academic).
☀️ Summer Boost (1:1 Tutoring)
Summer Boost is an extension of your existing 1-on-1 tutoring, with a focus on preparing students for the next school year.
What to expect
- Students may join via trial
- First class should include an assessment (based on the grade they’re entering next)
- Sessions should focus on reading and/or math
- You’ll create and lead your own curriculum based on student needs
Teaching approach
You have flexibility in how you structure sessions:
- Alternate between reading and math in each class
- Split time within a session to cover both
- Focus more deeply on one subject if needed
Identifying Summer Boost students
These sessions will be labeled as “summer prep” in your schedule
🎭 Fun Group Classes
Group classes are now available across a range of subjects, and this summer we’re especially leaning into classes that feel fun, creative, and engaging.
This is a great opportunity to bring your personality into the classroom and create experiences kids genuinely look forward to.
We’ll be placing extra focus on the areas listed below – perfect for families who want to give their kids a break from traditional academics while still keeping them learning and connected.
